About 2000 a month, 1600 of which is commuting. 270 litres of petrol @1.40 p/l - nearly £380! Crikey. I need to move closer to work...

yes

MPG definitely starts to get important once the mileage gets big. Currently averaging 45 - 50 mpg but anything less and I'd change cars.

Depends heavily on the weather. I do perhaps 300 commuting and anything from zero to twice that for fun.

About 1200. A lot of that is getting the missus to and from work as there is little (during the day) or no (when she finishes at 10pm) public transport where she works. Still, it's teaching me economy driving. On the way to collect her at night (15 mostly motorway miles) I can get the Octy up to 42-43 mpg.

Car - probably lucky to do 200-300 a month, self employed, based at home so no commuting.

Van, about 1500 per month.
