Skipping the configurator thing I'd like to nominate one of my neighbour's cars;

A4 2.0 TDi (dag dag dag) convertible (DAG DAG DAG DAG) in matt white wrap (pass the bucket) with black wheels (pass another much larger bucket).

Just wrong on so many levels.

I just did, with my Singaopore cloak on, and it's 851,138.00 SGD, which xe.com states is 434,345.39 GBP (inc. £108k of options, which is £24k more than the Australian one) and that includes a 12 month radio licence

What am I doing wrong then?

Panamera Turbo S in luxury Beige Metallic

Total Price* 851,138 SGD
  • including GST, 12-month road tax, 12-month radio license, registration fee, ARF.

EDIT

Just worked it out, I think.

Add import duty at 31% - £134,647

Add Additional Registration Fee (ARF) at 140% - £796,589

Making a total of £1,365,581 for a beige Panamera

However, how much more is a Certificate of Entitlement (permission to own this vehicle)?

How much more is Singapore Road tax?

I think I'll start a new thread entitled "Most expensive country to register/purchase a new car"

There ya go.

Costs a grand total of £8,900.00, £425 for the sexy green, I decided against the £400 for air conditioning.
What size rims are they!? Pretty sure my desk chair is running on bigger. hehe

Saving the planet is expensive:

£38,045

And there weren't many options to choose.

its the various funky additional taxes that they add to them. ARF - Additional Registration Fee

Then there is the COE - that is currently at about $90k (GBP45k)for one of these (will need another one in 10 years time)

Anual road tax will be somewhere around the $4.5k mark (GBP2250)

Even with the 4,800quid luggage, I can't match that A8L!

124k for an XJ with an orgasmic engine. Keep your A8 hehe Like someone else mentioned previously, they're pretty well appointed as standard. so there's not much available in the way of options.

That R8 looks like a bargain!

check this then:

a 60K (euros, but eh, cant be arsed converting) completely M-looking 1 series, estoril blue, white leather etc and every option BMW could conceive of, with a blistering 136 horsepower fed through an automatic gearbox.

hehe

I did try the Mito configurator when they first came out just to see what it would go to, think I got it to just over £40k before it broke! Seems like theres less options on there now though.
