Did not realise how expensive plates were. My plate ends in FFS which causes a good deal of amusement and actually was offered £300 for it by some guy who knocked on my door.

The lord provost of Glasgow official car is G1 I take it that's worth a few ££££ then ?

Golf Diesel by me with the plate 3O always wonder how much it would be worth owner lives on a normal 3 bed-semi detached house worth about 150k numberplate must be worth nearly a 1/3rd of that madness...

Often with plates such as '3 O' that you refer too, the owner has had it for many, many years and doesn't care what it's worth now. Or, they spend there money on different things to flash cars or houses.

There is a Taxi driver in Nottingham who has the plate 'VAL 1' - been in his family for years and owes him nothing as its been passed onto him.
