India was mentioned earlier & I can vouch for that being bonkers. We had a car & driver when we were there & it was madness. Coming up to a junction & there's a queue then that's not a problem - just cross the road & drive on the pavement. Roundabout a bit busy? Don't worry, just drive round it the wrong way. Also, everyone & I mean everyone drives everywhere at about 40mph. This includes overtaking. The concept of changing down a gear to get safely past just doesn't seem to register. We were coming down a hill once & had to take to the dirt at the side of the road when coming up the hill was a car on our side of the road which was overtaking a bus which was overtaking a truck. All doing 40mph. Didn't bother our driver though & he didn't bother his brakes.

I can honestly say in the month we were there, I must have said "fking hell" or similar so many times. Throw into the mix 6 people on 1 motorbike and cows wandering round all over the place & it was just bedlam.

Not sure if this would pass an MOT though?

Removed that link, I'm not sure people want to view scenes like that here. I know I don't.

Do they all drive at 70mph through suburban streets?

Nutters the lot of them.

Like others have said, India is pretty bad but half the time the roads are too jammed to move at more than a couple of mph

The AEC factory in Southall, Middx, used to drive chassis to the bodyshop in the Watford area and they looked exactly like that.

This is a late example. They were often seen driving through Greenford Broadway with a driver wearing goggle over a reversed flat 'at!

At least this poor sod has a crash helmet!

@ 1.06 min; Queen - Don't stop Me Now smile

We drove to Russia a few years ago to watch Manchester United vs. Chelsea in the Champions League Final - Never again. As the video suggests it's out of control over there. It really is as bad as the videos suggest. Accidents everywhere you look.

Over here you seldom see accidents in real life, real time. On our UK - Russia trip we saw several.

Having driven through quite a bit of Russia on the way to Mongolia, I can certainly vouch for the frankly unbelievable driving! It's incredible that there aren't thousands of compilations like this considering their driving "skills"!

Don't get me started on driving in India though!!
Recently returned from living in Delhi for a year and I agree to an extent. I drove my Ambassador all the time and never got in an accident. As has been said, in India the driving is mental but it's all relatively slow, when accidents to occur they are light damage which is why all the cars are beaten up pieces of crap.

Motorbikes on the other hand are in accidents all the time and they end up in many pieces, usually by riding directly into the wheelarch of a large lorry.
