Stupid price.
yup 458 over this all day long !
If I wanted a 'track focussed' modified road car for around £130k then I wouldn't be handing Jaguar the money... smile

Think I'd take the 430 Scud. Love the Black Series, but I'd wait a few years for the price to drop to a less ridiculous sum! It'd still be overpriced if it cost half what it's listed at!

Just how many more iterations of the XK can there be? Surely they're starting to run out of letters to put on this thing.
Nonsense. As posted earlier, there's the clear follow up of the XKR-S GTR plus the more track oriented XKR-S GT-RS followed by the superlight variants XKR-R, XKR-R GT, XKR-R GTR and XKR-R GT-RS.

Then of course you have the actual race models being the XKR-R GT3 and XKR-R GT2 plus the road going version for people who think they want a race car for the road but don't actually want a race car for the road, i.e. the XKR-S GT3 and XKR-S GT2.

Or, perhaps Jag will stop following the Porsche strategy of endless fecking variants and stick to XK8 for old blokes and XKR for people who want an XK8 that's a bit (OK a lot) quicker. We can only hope.

You could argue that the best XK is the basic 5.0 coupe. 380bhp and a nicely balanced chassis sounds like plenty for the road. All IMHO of course.

It's the best looking by far - everything else in the has too much "stuck-on at Halfords" going on - vents, ducts, chicken-wire galore...)

Mad mad money, and agreed on the awful rear wing. A spoiler in every sense of the word.
It's not on there for aesthetics though is it, it's part of what helps with the increased downforce.
Anyone saying they wouldn't have one because they don't like the look of the wing is missing the point of the car.
