M135i is a lot of things but it is definitely not a sleeper ![rolleyes](/inc/images/rolleyes.gif)
why?![rolleyes](/inc/images/rolleyes.gif)
its practically identical to every other fugly 1 series out their, most have m badging of a type as well
Plus it's a relatively new BMW which must be fast and expensive anyway.

I don't think he is. It's a new feature of BMW cruise that will deactivate the throttle when it detects another BMW in close proximity with superior //M-ness. It can also apply the brakes in deference
Rangetronic. Standatd equipment.
Pfft! That's nothing!
I was out running yesterday, and I overtook an oak tree. Perhaps 1,000 years old. That tree has around 1000 years of developing its speed and cross country handling, and I ran past it like it was rooted in the ground...
Even in my 10 year old land-yacht (a smoker XC70) I occasionally overtake 320d msportz! Boom!! Although, the more m-sport badges are on the car, the faster and more desirable it is. Fact.

With the £250 per month lease deals selling like hot cakes, there will be load of these in poverty spec colours suddenly on the road in April.
Got a link to that? There are only 6 colours available (one Solid) and the cost of metallic paint per month was about £3 so I doubt it will make much difference!
Re some of the odd responses.
Poverty spec is what most company car people refer to as a base car. Without many extras.

Maybe.
Maybe this whole thread needs the Woosh parrot indeed. I see you all kind of missed the car doing 80 mph constant couldn't be overtaken by a car doing 75 constant.
It was a blue 5 door btw![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
no you forgot to put your rear seats flat to distribute the weight better...Maybe this whole thread needs the Woosh parrot indeed. I see you all kind of missed the car doing 80 mph constant couldn't be overtaken by a car doing 75 constant.

According to that logic then, a non-petrolhead would think a 116i is just as fast, right?
Plus it's a relatively new BMW which must be fast and expensive anyway.
Pretty much. Someone who doesn't know what they're talking about will see a new BMW with M badges all over it and think it's a fast car. //Marketing and all that.Plus it's a relatively new BMW which must be fast and expensive anyway.
