Better than last week. At least it has sporting pretensions.

I think I'd prefer a clean Capri or Manta if one could be found for Shed money.
Clean Capris are well out of shed money I think.

Mantas too... they've gone the way of old Escorts due to rallying.

Great Shed btw - an interesting choice and brilliant article. Back on form!

Good shed, at least it's interesting. Not for me though - too much spannering required!

What a change to the run of eurobarges / JDM stuff lately. Love it!

Thank god we just got a new car for the mrs otherwise I probably would have already responded to the ad, not that it would have gone down well... biggrin

Well it's more interesting than last week's fail but doesn't make my wallet get all itchy. As a project it could be fun, would never be pretty though. Rover V8 would be a sensible drop in choice, fit a cage to add stiffness, sort the leaking door seals, fit new wheels and paint it a dark colour....

Would be more sensible to buy something already to run though.

It's interesting and at least it's not a bl**dy Freelander (last week was Shed's all time nadir) but it's not for me.

I've had a few old heaps that have let the rain in big time and vowed never to own another.

Much better Shed.

That engine and gearbox would be the first to go and replaced with a the 2.0 VTEC. (Don't know the code name)

Great shed if your main criteria are rarity and uniqueness. I have to confess I've never seen or heard of this car, despite being quite a fan of 'todays' Ginetta. Laurence Tomlinson should buy it and spruce it up to put in the office reception.

I like it - local PH'r brought a yellow one to a Christmas meet a few years back - even Mrs BC was quite taken by it.

I'd want something nicer engine wise than a pinto but a zetec or red top 2.0 wouldn't be too much work on twin sidedrafts and would make it a lot of fun

1,000,000 time better than that soft roader from last week

This may not be the wisest SOTW to buy, but bloody 'ell, it's the most interesting one for ages. Well done!

It has Bias Adjustable Brakes. Come on! I bet nobody else has this. Worth buying for this alone. Hopefully there's a sinister knurled alloy knob within arm's reach. With Dymo stickered Front<--->Rear label.

I had this on an old Escort. Handy if you suddenly find yourself driving in a spirited manner on grass.

GREAT shed. Back to what it should have been. Even this old Gin will be more reliable than that POS.

Well done Shed.

Inexplicable want.
I'm not mechanically qualified but this car could be an excellent project.
Remove the bonnet vents, the spoiler, change the rear lights, perhaps fit a 150hp engine, fit some more appropriate bumpers and respray the result in yellow (or orange): WIN!

Combine it with a roll cage, decent suspension and a crashed S2000 and you might be on to a serious track toy.

Thinking about it, G33's all came with the 3.9Ltr Rover V8 unit fitted which was nice and light. Surely there must have been an option to fit this unit to the G31?

Really really want one of these.

You could just run it as it is and have plenty of fun but I imagine you could very easily drop a fortune on it.

I always fancied a G32, were these mid engined?

An interesting shed after last weeks aberration, but not really to my taste.
