Like the way you rushed into that 335d purchase!!!! Its working out to be just the same monthly cost as my RS6 which kind of defeats the point of a change to save cost

How did you only lost c£280pcm on a nearly new 535d? What did you buy and sell it for- was it a distress sale and someone badly wanted to buy it?
I bought it from a forum member for £34k and sold it some 18 months or so later with 50k miles added for £31k. I borrowed around £30k from Lombard to buy it, as I thought it was cheaper to borrow some money and be in a just released new shape 535d for £35k than in a 530d E39 at £20k.
When I sold it I walked away with my deposit back and worked out that with the interest that I had paid on the money borrowed that car had cost me £280 a month.
Just a case of buying at the right time in the depreciation curve for the vehicle you want to be in.
