It's funny how riding a bike with a camera on your helmet is somehow a social crime; but driving with a camera on your windscreen is proper upstanding-citizen behaviour on PH.
What do you expect? This is a car site. I expect it's the opposite way round on pedalheads.com...calibrax said:

Yeah, it could be 2 feet or 2 inches, but it was most definitely well substandard and impatient.
Gixer said there was nothing wrong with it, which I was taking issue with.
Look at my previous post. Why is he still out in the middle of the road? Look at all that room he could give himself. Gixer said there was nothing wrong with it, which I was taking issue with.
If you go out looking for trouble, generally you are going to find trouble. Regardless of what you are in or on.
I get passed closer than that every day. I don't chase after drivers to gob off at them.

Yes the overtake wasn't the best but purposely catching up with the car driver to have a word and in my opinion escalate a situation that could of been avoided, is stupid.
Cyclist could of just thought to himself what a tt of an overtake and been on his way. He may one day rant at the wrong driver who doesn't trip up over himself.

These two deserve each other...
Legally, the cyclist is in the right in that positioning himself in the road to protect from being doored. Poor overtake. (GoPro makes it look further away than it was) He should have shook his head and carried on. Go home live another day.
Following the angry man to have a word? Stupid. If this was a Kenneth Noye he'd have been squished, stabbed, shot *insert grisly ending here*
The guy falling at the end was quite funny however.

I'm not going to comment on the rights and wrongs but the comments about the guys physique. I accept, he is no Hugh Jackman but to refer to hin as Fatty, Fatty Arbuckle etc. It does make me wonder whether I belong on Pistonheasds as it's clearly inhabited by buff guys who are a sort of cross between Chris Hoy, Jason Statham and Bradley Cooper.
The funny thing is that I've attended a few Sunday services and most of the people look just like this bloke except worse dressed.
Amazing stuff.

I've wondered about that sort of thing too, usually on reading comments about a woman (of above average attractiveness, most likely) being described as "very ugly" or words to that effect, and "I wouldn't fk her" - no mate, you wouldn't, but it's not like the decision rests with you.The funny thing is that I've attended a few Sunday services and most of the people look just like this bloke except worse dressed.

It's my own fault for venturing into The Lounge, I think
Glad i waited until the end as it was getting tiresome before hand.
I don't think the car passed him that close but it's hard to tell on a camera. What looks far away could have been 1cm from his handlebars. Either way i wouldn't have gone chasing after him. The car driver is clearly a 'bit' of a nutter though. Talk about going off the deep end.

Reading !!
Are you sure?
In another thread Welshbeef referred to Reading and it sounded like Sunningdale. This can't be the same place surely.
100% sure. Jesse Terrace, briefly onto Castle Hill (narrowly avoiding pedestrian and cyclist - double standards and all that), then he turns into Carey Street which leads into ZinZan Street. Are you sure?

Not the sort of area you go looking for trouble in....
