I bet they could cause you a lot of bother, if they called BT
Park the van elsewhere, not worth the hassle

The council have just knocked down old garages at the back of them which you can park 20 vehicles
Put the van in one of these 20 spaces
I'm sure he would like to...

Park your van at work. You don't own it, why should the street be spoiled with commercial vehicles? The owner should look after it, not the employer. When I'm emporer I will make this law. And caravans parked anywhere I can see it will be firebombed.

Be nice to your neighbours.
Not always that easy. In my old job the base was about 60 miles away. Going to pick the van up and drop it off again would take up most of my day.

Besides, my neighbours are mostly pretentious toss sacks who park outside someone elses house so their views aren't blocked. Unfortunately for them the space that leaves in front of their house is just the right size for my own Transit (an actual Transit, not a Vivaro) to go.

Don't you know what van you drive!? Surely that's a Vauxhall Vivaro?
I know it doesn't help the discussion, but this is what I wanted to ask as soon as I read "Ford Transit" and saw the picture hehe
No its definitly a ford transit but i know that the shape of them are similar
I hope you're better at fixing phones than you are at knowing what van you drive and spelling.

How on earth can the street be “spoiled” by commercial vehicles?
Lots of work vans parked in my street and it’s not “spoiled “ at all.no doubt the people that park them there live a fair distance from the yard they are based at

My company don’t have a yard, my working day starts and finishes on my drive, so where should I park my van? With no company supplied van (a 2018 T6) I can’t work.

If I’ve read the OP correctly, their are 3 households using 6 spaces, and both of his are out during the day. I can see no issue here OP.

Hello

I need some help in regarding a parking matter as you can see from the picture below there is six parking bays for anyone to use. I have 2 households saying that its 1 space for each household but there isn't a sign saying reserved parking or anything to suggest other wise.

Also i have own the black jaguar in the picture and also have the BT ford transit for work.

What do you think i should do? Do i confrobt both households saying there wrong as the council haven't said its reserved for the six households as i have seen other people using them when there is a couple of free spaces available.

You need to check the freehold/leasehold documents. Usually they will specify which parking space you own. Also need to check on whether you can keep a commercial vehicle there as some only allow private vehicles.

Come again? scratchchin

You're saying that the Openreach van, the one you drive and the one in the picture is a ford transit and NOT a Vauxhall Vivaro?

The thing I’m most bothered about here is that the van is definitely, definitely not a Transit. hehe

I notice there are driveways in front of the houses, I assume your home does not have one then?

I only bring this up because I am wondering if one of those two neighbors complaining have a driveway in front of their home, and if so are they then counting the other spot to park across the street as an extra for them?

One of the house does has a driveway and the other house doesn't but has no vehicles apart from the odd visit by there family which has had no problem parking and other visits by lads on mopeds visting for less 2mins dropping drugs off.

OP, buy more cars and use all the spaces because you are 'right' and obviously don't need to consider other people.

I can't comment on the legal / official standpoint, but if there are 6 bays and 6 homes, its a bit of a cheek to take up two spaces. Can't you park the van on the road or something?
Agreed. On my street there are four work vans which are used for multi national companies. It's a piss take...

I was always under the impression they had to go back to site when I worked in manufacturing
