I'd like to drop one in a Bristol 411, modern V8 in classic gentleman's carriage.

Dropping a V8 in the new suzuki jimny would be pretty mental.

I put a modified LSA engine into my Monaro for 820 ish HP. Goes well.

When I was at Top Cats Racing, I was very tempted by a T350 TVR they had for sale which had a 600HP LS7 in it. Apparently it was terrifying. Only £40k though.

How about a Morris Marina?

With suitably redesigned suspension of course.

Bought the 490 BHP one to drop in one of my Alpine GTAs last year. Have had to use some different headers and an electric water pump to get it to work so with those bits should be comfortably past 500 BHP. It's in the car but still need to get the ECU wired in and the exhaust sorted. Should be 400 + BHP per ton once up and running smile
Do you have a thread I can follow this sounds like an interesting build.
Yep, I'd love to read about this too.
I loved the GTA but it was always crying out for more power. 400bhp per ton should do it...

I'd love to drop a big V8 in an AC Ace; that would make a fantastic car!

It's terrifying because it's on a tubuler chassis and hasn't been crash tested. I doubt it's got any meaningful crash protection.

I was going to suggest a Sagaris or a Tuscan but I think I like the Speed Six too much!

There's a fair few V8 Minors out there! There's so much room under the bonnet.

Would they fit in a 986/7? You must be able to pick up a bore scored edition for not very much, and some of these are certainly cheaper than a rebuild.

Sure. Absolutely not cheaper than a rebuild though by the time you're done.

Yes please. Put me down for two.
One for my Griff (sportmotive have done loads of LS conversions) and one for my land cruiser 80 as per Icon/Jonathan Ward in the US.
Connect and cruise x 2. Wonder if they do a Black Friday BOGOF?
Man maths means running two identical engines makes complete economic sense - bulk buying oils, plugs etc, easier spares stocking...
Haven’t completely nailed the figures down but I’m right on this, yes?
