So win the Euro buy this an spend a bit extra on a retrim an its job done.
A retrim to make it looks like Laurence Llewelyn Bowen's favourite brothel (a la Bentayga and Urus pictures on the first page), or something more tasteful? They'll sell a handful in year 1, a few more will appear as ex-UK Importer cars after that, and that'll be it. They'll be as popular as the first gen of ML55's after that. Speaking about the UK only. They make marginally more sense elsewhere (usually closer to where they're made).

That is a crazy vehicle indeed. Absolutely nothing is sensible about it, and probably also great off road. I don't need one, but if money was not a limiting factor, I would take one (and over the Urus). The thing for me is....this is Jeep, a 4x4 brand making a super 4x4. The other marques are stretching their territory into 4x4 segment.
I need one in black with red interior, or red with black.

This passed me on the street in Paris on Wednesday. I got a bit excited, as it's the first one I've seen on public roads (the last one was black at a car show), and it confirms white must the worst colour for the Urus. Can my perception of a car be colour dependent? I really like the Urus, but hated this!

Aaaaaannnd, they're off.. on the 12.30 First argument of the Thread stakes, live from PH towers.
In the lead is the "interior quality" argument, but closing at the rear and ready to break is the "SUV's too big for UK roads statement" an ageing runner but, still up there.
Ha! My main argument was the brakes catching alight, but ok... In the lead is the "interior quality" argument, but closing at the rear and ready to break is the "SUV's too big for UK roads statement" an ageing runner but, still up there.

Yep the outside is as much of a mess as the inside ….These must be awesome I enjoy driving SRT8's & they really work with the lighter interiors, this must be a beast, I'have driven a few Hellcat Chargers they are overpowered but in this setup I think it may have found it's proper home.
Also it's list price 90k for a brand new, what does 90k get you in Porsche/Mercedes/BMW?
Here's a thread from someone who owns one:

The Jeep does suffer from being the halo model of a car that can be leased for $200/month. Even at that price the interior is in need of an update. Powerful jeeps are nothing new but I went with the Cayenne when faced with buying a powerful SUV in the US. OK, I only have 420hp but it’s enough for me. I’m not taking it to the drag strip or track. If that was my plan I’d buy a lotus and lose 4 stone.
I cant see the Jeep being very popular in the UK and neither can Chrysler as they have limited the number to 20.
The Urus looks rather horrible to my eyes - might be the colour combo though
I’d be inclined to make my own at that sort of price. TVS2650 supercharger is $6000. Add a fuel system upgrade and a set of forged pistons (kits are available) and I recon you could make one for £20k inc labour plus a standard SRT of course. In fact it would probably make more power.

I have the Summit version. It's a nice place to be.

It is my second in a row, and I have my first fault after 55k on the first and 20k on the second, which is the air suspension is showing a fault. Perfectly drivable so far, just doesn’t go up and down. Booked in for the 12th.

Yeah, just an engine upgrade. This is what they had to do to make it daily drivable....

A guy down my road buys a new SRT every year, I'm really hoping he's seen this Trackhawk so I can hear him blat it past my house in the mornings.

No doubt the Bentley and the Urus interiors are built of better quality materials, but am I really the only person who thinks they look ghastly?
I'm sure the Bentley can be specced beautifully but the Urus is a childish mess. My 3 year old would love it. I want all 3, sadly they need to depreciate a fair bit first. The Jeep so I can behave like a redneck, the Bentley so I can behave like an obnoxious russian oligarch and the Lamborghini because who doesn't want to be 3 years old. I'm just glad all three exist, but if anyone considers them too tasteless well Audi have a vast range of greyness to chose from.
