nice looking thing and i would love one.

But why tease us with something that no one can actually buy?

This game is really very off putting.

Speedsters historically were uncompromising lightweight and simple construction. A german lotus kind of thing.
This looks a bit too heavily engineered. Too comfortable and luxurious. Just a marketing exercise.

Bejeebers, that's one ugly rear. Something needs a diet. Cynical money making exercise?

Lovely day to release the news of Porsche's €535m fine for their part in dieselgate.

Invest? Honestly PH..
You beat me to it!

One can imagine the reaction in 5 years time if/when new government legislation around restrictions on the use of ICEs starts to affect their used values and then someone refers back to this ‘advice’! You’ve got to be so careful these days I thought?

Lovely car though. Just have to be careful what’s behind you when operating that roof it looks like!
The return doesn’t have to be financial!

Investments can be made over any time scale from a few seconds to 100+ years and beyond, a 100k profit the day you pick it up would be a good return on your investment.

For that sort of money I’d go for a 991 GT3 RS every time......

The Speedster production run should just about cover that.

nice car nonetheless
It’s a “light weight” Porsche, you pay more for what isn’t there.

Is this a Herbie tribute or something? Porsche going right back to their roots.
You’ll have to wait for the fully autonomous 911 for the Herbie experience.

yeah but where are the gimmicky fabric door pulleys that porsche stick on their 'light weight' edition cars now?

eta - yeah they're there:

I’m in no position to comment on values really since I’m a complete nobody but as a simple observer I’m a little surprised that the 964 is as “cheap” as that (and at the expected short term values of the 991 versions).

May be I'm weird but I like the fabric door pulls.

I think it looks out of proportion and a bit silly from the rear. Previous speeders were far better looking.

cheap compared to the Vanquish Zagato interpretation ! - and far more common.
