Have another +1. I like my RC a lot but these are next level. Rob 131 Sport said:
Whilst the Alfa Guilia looks great, I’ve always felt from a styling perspective the 159 was much better.
The Giulia isn't as sharp or differentiated as the 156 or 159, but in its defence, it doesn't have a bad angle on it. The wing forward of the wheel on the 159 is a mess, too big. Better on the 156 but then the rear three quarters of that never looked quite right.F1GTRUeno said:
I like the 208 as well
What do you like about the 208? I think it's one of the ugliest cars ever ,they're horrible. Edited by F1GTRUeno on Monday 27th December 18:21
I'd probably go with the lexus lc 500 tbf, they're the only thing I'd say that doesnt blend into the background and is also very futuristic looking. That or the Audi w tron GT which I can say the same about
Thumbs down from me for the LC, for what it's worth. I don't think it's going to age well. Vulgar's probably the wrong word but it's not pretty, the headlights are doing most of the design's lifting and they themselves aren't exactly beautiful - I see what they're doing but in the detail it's a little bit too close to 'accident damage' to be classic, IMO.
On a very different note, not 'best' but, whilst not generally a fan of German cars, I do like the current 3 Series.
It's smart, classy, coherent instead of fussy, and not as aggressive as some of its predecessors. I think this is one of those windows in time where they got it more right.

I also quite like seeing the Suzuki Swift and Ignis, they're likeable little things that seem to inject some fun back into car design. Infinitely preferable to every arms-race-massive new SUV. Just don't look at the back of the Ignis.
Maybe just bad history and low expectations on my part but I'm surprised to remember what this is every time I see one of these, I always think it must be a Mazda:

To balance the ugliest car thread I thought it was worth celebrating where manufacturers have got it very right. I'll kick off with the new Peugeot 508:
And it does drive really well and turns heads. When we had ours, the amount of times i got people coming up to me asking me what it was and then looking shocked when i told them it was a Peugeot.trashbat said:

Taycan. Specifically the Sport Turismo. The estate/hatch shape looks better than the 4 door, and doesn't have the Cross Turismo wheelarch add ones.
I don't get the love for the LC either, an even bigger grille than modern BMWs, and an ugly back end.
F-Type (original and current model). Roma (can’t believe this hasn’t yet been mentioned).
Mercedes have been on point with the C and E-Class coupes. I’ve always liked the styling of the Evoque. Astons always look good, but they seem to be reincarnations of previous models with the same design themes.
One that is a bit underrated is the Arteon. Very futuristic and distinctive, particularly the front.

Absolutely no-one has nominated an SUV here. Very telling. So why do people thing an SUV makes them look cool? “Look at me, in my large ugly piece of metal”. Where are the X6-lickers?
Back on track, I’d support the 508 (estate though), Volvo V90 and Lexus LC500. Special mention to the 208 - very good looking for a small car.
