Already mentioned but get in touch with the sporting bears - it's what they do, not just raising money. They often have private events for kids as well.
I've been a member for years and they are an awesome charity

I echo some of the thoughts here... For all the bickering and pathetic sniping that goes on, there are some truly wonderful people and gestures that far outshine the negativity. Massive kudos to those who have offered to help. Fantastic to see.

OP, I can't help with a fancy car but I wish you and your son my best wishes.. I hope whatever you guys do gives wonderful, fun memories for you both.

Also, you may not want to but if you set up any charitable donation pages, I'll happily donate as I'm sure others would too.

Seems you've already got some excellent offers, but do consider looking at / speaking to your regional PH club if it exists - May have some joy there, even if it's just a meet to go and look at / sit in a few cars.

Thank you for all the lovely messages people but I don’t want to derail this thread and make it about me, I’m definitely not one for sucking my own dick. Let’s just all agree that this young boy is going through a crappy time and we are here for him. I would like to keep this thread open so I can upload some pictures from the day so he can always revert back to them and peruse through them and this thread at his own leisure.
Thanks

OP, so sorry to hear about your son, and I just want to say to everyone that has offered help, advice and a solution here, wow. I have seldom been so emotional reading an Internet forum. Bravo, you have all validated my belief that people are essentially a decent lot. Incredible gesture, well done all. A virtual pint to one and all.

I can only echo the previous comments. The definition of something that cannot be bought. We've all seen the videos of individual who are able to hire these cars and wreck them, yet think request seems so difficult In comparison.

I hit my 5 post limit yesterday so am only able to reply now. There have been some very kind and very kind and crazy offers (I’m thinking tberg here!) so thank you to each and every one of you.

As I’ve found out twice now with my children, the hospitals are full of people of all ages being treated for cancer and lots of them are PH fans, some of them just don’t know it!

I know Covid has screwed a lot of things up that people had planned but even if one of you takes that kind offer and finds a way to do the same for a teenager I’m sure it would give them and their family a huge boost.

As 2manycars has already posted, we will arrange something and update here after the day.

Thanks again.

I wish your lad all the best, OP. It’s warming to see some of the gestures being offered; brilliant community spirit. Well done.

I’m in Alderley Edge just down the road from you, so easiest thing to do is follow me on Instagram @2manycars_official and get him to pick which of my cars he’d like to go out in. I can arrange something at Oulton park and I’ll try and rope my friend Oli Webb into driving for the day, if not I’m sure Seb Morris (another friend of mine) would be happy to drive.
What a man. Chapeau.
