Peter Windsor referred to the driver with the blue and green colour scheme and helmet while talking about the bright green of the Sauber for 2024.

I'm going to disagree... The retro versions they've produced (29 car) and the one below look superb.

Very pretty and delicate looking cars.

I think they've made the howlers look like that to sell their retro styled version.

You're absolutely right! Those proportions wouldn't work for you at all, your arse would be far too big for any standard trousers and you wouldn't be able to sit comfortably in normal seating either.

I think if you had a choice, you'd elect for a Mclaren Speedtail, but the Zagato is far cheaper. I feel its a good effort in support of nostalgia, but certainly not as elegant as those it takes inspiration from. Perhaps ahead of its time in regard to design hence why difficult to stomach for some. Cannot see the want to chop and change between long or short tail; bit of a fad and arguably senseless.

I quite like this - unlike almost everything else Zagato has put out.
I can't help but think the changes will ruin how the car drives though, making it so much bigger.

As others have said, reminds me of old speed tail racers etc.

Wrong car to do it to though.

I don't actually mind it at all. But one thing I just cannot get my head around, is how in the name of sweet divine jaysus do you add half a million quid (or multiply the original cars RRP by a factor of TEN if you want it another way!) just by sticking a fancy bodykit on to it?????

Utter. Madness.

Maybe this guy was on the design team...

Sorry, PH Collective, I rather like it.
Same.

But looks like it should have a howling smallblock V8 or V12, not an asthmatic turbo 4.

I never got the veneration of Zagato. All they seem to do is ruin my favourite cars.

This:

Is infinitely prettier than this:

Their second attempt with an Aston Martin:

Looks like a mid 80’s Maserati & a Subaru SVX had a baby:

And by the 2000’s were busy turning this:

Into this horror:

I could go on but you get the point.

So given their track record I’m not surprised.

It seems to be a facility for people who like the car in question but find it simply isn’t exclusive enough to tickle their fancy to achieve bragging rights.

The price is bonkers, but i quite like the blue longtail one. The small engine fits very well with the history of these le mans low drag cars, like the panhards for example.

Zagato equation:

(Alfa 4C) x (McLaren Speedtail) + (2 x ugly for words) = Zagato 110
