Found some old photos of mine. Not as exotic as some on this thread but still a very pretty, beautifully styled car and absolutely tiny by today’s standards

That's a fantastic colour. Shame about the plastic cladding on the doors, something I noticed and mention as I thought the door skin on the Garmisch concept above looked X1-9 like to me. It's probably the handle and the groove.
Yeh. The early 1300cc ones without the big USA bumpers and additions were much prettier. Another thing it had in common with the Countach laugh
It was lovely little thing but it was very unreliable, left me stranded a few times.
The heater worked directly off the main coolant pipes running from the engine to the radiator in the front, all controlled by a rubber gland valve. I discovered early in my ownership that these failed very easily and the cabin was filled with hot coolant mix direct from the engine!

Sad news

Got to be the LP400 for me - still can't imagine what it would have been like seeing one on the roads in the mid 70's!
Absolutely the early Countach: now that shook my world!

Other favorites are the Dino 208/308GT4, Khamsin and BX.

IMHO not only the most beautiful car ever designed but one of the most beautiful objects ever designed.
Can’t argue with that., they are absolutely stunning.
I honestly had no idea there was a roadster version! Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone review or drive one.
Joe Sackey knows more... It's a showpiece, not really a driver.

IMO when Gandini took over Giugiaro's seat he also took over projects.
The Miura was a joint effort of many folks at Lambo, Bizza, and even Touring had a clay model with strong Miura resemblance...

It's safe to say the Miura is a Bertone design, like all known dealers, specialists and journalists will point out.

Marcello was a giant, but he never made something Miura again, now did he?
