If thats for me, I have no prior knowledge for that part of the country so when I say I can get to Maidenhead I mean I have just looked at the atlas and now know how to get to Maidenhead from Reading

Sorry if these questions have already been answered....

1. After all meeting in the carpark where will the convoy be heading? Which south coast town?

2. Is there a set route for everyone to follow in convoy to the agreed location?

3. Are there parking arrangements for 100+ cars arranged for arriving on the south coast?

4. Is there an agreed 'set-off' time?

5. Is everyone planning to eat at the same place? 85 cars (i think) so far, going to have to be a BIG restaurant / pub.

Sorry for all the questions but they are just a few things i was wondering about....

I wouldn't suggest a convoy of that size trying to get anywhere.

Im affraid im going to bail out, As much as i like cars I cant see the point in driving all the way to a carpark near tunbridge wells just to look at some cars and then drive home again....?

If next time theres actually a plan to the day, maybe to visit somewhere to do with automotive heritage or to have an organised second route to a second meeting point via some nice roads then id definatly be in, otherwise im a no.

Have fun.

I can see why you would say that, however, give it a go on this one occasion and you'll see exactly why it is being done. Top people, top cars. What more do you want on a Sunday morning?!

(Ted...I hope to come...I'll be driving home from a romantic weekend and so hope to persaude her the way to end it is with cars, be good to say hi and see the beast)

I can see your point, Roch but if it's not a million miles then give it a go. These meets are often better than many motor museums with a fantastic array of shiny exotica and lots of friendly people.

Well, I understand why everyones meeting up, but Im still not sure. Keep your eye out for a silver 335i on the day though...

I used to own a Works Mini Cooper S and attended a few meetings arranged by MINI2.com, these ranged from going to spectate the mini race series at silverstone to an organised treasure hunt across the cotswolds to having our own MINI2.com club stand at a mini show in Beaulie Motor Measeum (sorry spelling is useless)

Do PistonHeads ever have these sort of events? Something where the enjoyment of driving can be mixed with an event or an actual PistonHeads organised day?
