white is the way forward... i saw a light metalic blue one of these about three weeks ago just didn't look right, it was a really light almost pastel shade...looked like a big hard car painted all ghay.
Really? There isn't a blue colour available?it was in watford...near the nissan hq (rickmansworth end). 100% it was the R35, i thought it may have been a press car but the colour was well poo.
i know they dont make a blue...yet (v-spec cometh) .. but they also dont make one in lambo orange...yet one exists.

I cant see Nissan painting one up in another colour for the UK. From memory the colours are black, white, red, silver, gunmetal and a "titanium" colour which looks almost gold-ish.
Oh, and all the info points toward it being called Spec-V rather than V-Spec as before.

The article clearly states that the price includes the 'model report', I just thought I'd point that out to the numerous people that queried it. Maybe it was added after people had posted about it?

The car had the SVA tests done- added to the story to clarify.
Was just pondering my choice of £100k supercar for the previous story when I saw this beauty.
Think I would just get 1 of these and some petrol.... NOW !!!
Only thing is, it would have to be a manual and in silver I reckon. White is just a bit too trendy here at the moment and God knows why. In Oz everybody's parents drive a white car. It's naff. Anyway, this car shouldn't have to lower itself to fashion.

Yep - part about the model report was added afterwards. Looking forward to seeing one of these on the road. What I dont get is that this car is supposed to be aimed at the Porsche 911 Turbo (not sure which exact model) market. Surely the people that love Porsches would want a full manual version. I don't get the trend of a lot of top performance cars going down the road or semi-auto type transmission.
I've never actually driven anything with SMG/DSG type transmission but I imagine it takes some of the fun out of it. Have Nissan said anywhere as to why they are going down this route with the GTR

Take a look in the classifieds and see how many 911 Turbos are tiptronic.I read recently that half of the 997 Turbos were specified as tip.

Are nissan dealers already geared up to service that car? I seem to remember previous article / threads stating that only a few dealerships will have trained staff able to service it and I imagine these would not be ready yet.
They aren't. I don't know the owner personally, only know of him, and with his contacts/background Im sure he wont have any issues getting something done on it. JB Rugby said:

Very unlikely, but how hard can it be to drop the oil, spin on a new filter and put a stamp in a booklet?GTR plays with 997tt :
