DAV1D is owned by a mate of mine, Dave West.
He is worth well in excess of £100m and the number is for sale, but at £225,000 (not the figure preiously quoted).
A1 I reckon will NEVER be sold (in the foreseeable furure).
The owner (Prince Jeffrey(sp?) is in no need of such "small change"

DAV1D is on a a left-hand drive Rolls Royce - saw it two weeks ago in Hayes (west London), an old guy filling up at the Tesco petrol station.

I've also seen 5INGH on that black and silver Rolls drop-head - impressive!

N1MFO on a less than impressive pick-up, again in the Hayes area.

D150BEY on a black Supra in Sudbury, NW London.

Also used to see 1 NO on a Range Rover around Slough/Windsor, but not for a while.

T11RBO is on a Bentley Arnage of all things, and L4MBO I'm pretty sure I saw recently on something like an S-class Merc?? Go figure!!

The Prince is in a fair bit of financial trouble you know. Mind you I personally can't see him selling the plate unless its done for him. smile

GER1E used to belong to Gerry Marsden (of and the Pacemakers fame). Maybe still does?

[pointless history]
Saw him and it on a burgundy Rover SD1 IIRC, circa mid 1980s in either Sandbach or Knutsford services

He lives in my village, drives a DB9. Don't remember seeing that plate on it though.

I saw FEB 14 again this morning on an E class merc, not that special on it's own but it was parked outside a florists and my guess is that it belongs to the boss and that date on it's own has paid for the car and the plate.
