Where the Elise excels is keeping the tyres in contact with the road over bumps to retain as much of that potential (i.e. flat skidpan) cornering as possible in the real world. In fact the Elise seems to me to be the best car at doing this that I've ever driven, with the possible exception of the Evora. This is what really matters to be honest, unless you can drive to work by linking several skidpans together wink

Probably, although I suspect not as much as the tyres. I don't know which would roll more anyway, in this case. The Elise has quite soft suspension.
Mine dosen't have soft suspension, it feels like oak when you hit a pot hole......good on the corners though

A few years back Autocar had an article comparing cornering 'g' of several current ( at the time ) performance road cars.
I seem to remember the Noble and Elise doing pretty well but I'll dig the article out tonight
