There are a few about but they command prices way above thread budget.
Having said that, I'd be extremely happy with either of these sat in my driveway.

Yes - there's the other half of the answer to "where did all the S3 Jags go". The rusty knackered ones went to the banger track, possibly via a Jaguar breakers who stripped the interior and other re-useable bits. The nice ones have been kept in garages and only used on high days and holidays, and are now selling for £15k plus.Having said that, I'd be extremely happy with either of these sat in my driveway.

Nobody is using an S3 Jag as a daily driver in 2021, so you don't see them regularly on the roads. But they're still out there, they're just being kept tucked away by their owners.

The Brown 4.2, however, I'd be very tempted if I had that sort of spare cash.
A coouple of interesting Vauxhall finds:

I had a very brief look at the blue one at Townsends this morning as it's just down the road from me, it's rather nice. I'd be tempted to put a set of Kent alloys on it if it were mine.Having said that, I'd be extremely happy with either of these sat in my driveway.

For years I ignored the SIIIs but find them quite beguiling now.

About 15 years ago I purchased a 5.3 V12 SIII from eBay for £250 as it had a smoking engine. Body was great, mechanically good except the engine with Kent alloys and a mota lita steering wheel. Turned out to be one injector stuck open. About £60 to fix and went on to sell it for around £3,500 - those were the days!
The car was sable brown, for some reason, the sable brown ones were never as rusty, found the same on the Series 1 too

I think there's been some excessive use of some filtering wizardy going on there. Still looks solid though and I would be proud to show off my wheel arches at show grounds around the county.Derventio said:
They never made an estate SRi130. This is something some very clever and imaginative person has built. Kudos to them. I also like it a lot.
I mean I don't remember a MK2 Cavalier estate in any model !! Weirdly though I remember an Opel Rekord estate, a Carlton estate, just don't really recognise that shape.Looks fab what somebody has done.

Ford Cortinas, Morris Minors, pre-BMW Minis - once they reach a certain age, they’re no longer used as daily drivers, and the rough ones get scrapped (or dismantled for parts) and the good ones kept preserved and used sparingly.
Rover SD1 VDP with MOT for £995! Seems pretty good value
