Convoy to Spa 6 Hrs

Learnt today that my cats are burnt out. Guillotine has kindly offered to loan me his old ones pre the Monster Griff rebuild. Just hope they get them fitted in time tomorrow. The guy's tried it without and she showed 105 decibels at 3000rpm. Don't think i would get onto the ring or Spa with that noise so taking some cans just in case. zz
Hmmm..... Good news and bad at the last moment. I've got satnav capable of taking me to Belgium. I've got a cigarette lighter being fitted to the car for charging it too. However I'm not sure the replacement clutch cylinder will be finished in time. Could be going in the Skoda at this rate

Paul, quite a few will be heading to Nurburg on the Sunday night, staying in the Pistenklause and eating steak and drinking beer. Monday morning off and then the tourist-farter on the monday afternoon. Some others will stay in Spa on Sunday night but will still make it over for the afternoon session so yes either way the Ring on Monday is deffo a main feature. Afterwards a few are then staying over again at the PK on Monday night, a few heading back over to Spa again to be there ready for Tuesday morning and a few (me included) are just hotfooting it back for a lateish crossing on the tunnel on monday night.
What time you thinking of coming down, just on the monday or can you join us there for

OK... I'll be heading down to Spa-Francorchamps from Rotterdam on Sunday morning to shake hands and watch the racing, then to Pistenklause at the Ring for the evening dinner (still 8.30 pm?).
The Smart is not mine so I can't slap PH stickers on it to make it more recognisable... it'll stick out like a sore thumb, anyway.

Is good to have got back in the hot seat. The new headers have made a lot of difference to the sound and I am now deaf as a post too. Maybe the chap at Adenau will sympathise.
