Best smoker barges 1-5 large [vol8]

Could be tempted..... Just bagged my self a R129 for a smidge over thread budget.

2 owners, full history, original purchase docs the lot. Azurite blue, beige/mushroom interior, pano roof V6. Tried for a V8 but soon discovered the 500s I'd want are rapidly exiting my budget.

I was sorely tempted by an early blue 500 in Devon, I think still for sale, but in the end realised I just cannot get on with the two tone paint.

Funny how my priorities changed over the searching. Started V8 with pano, moved to very late I6's and not fussed with pano, settled on V6 with pano!!! The one constant throughout though was as I already own a silver Mercedes with black interior I didn't want another and I walked away from a couple of very nice R129s because of that.

Not a member yet, but planned to join. It might be something neat for the family to enjoy to.

Merc beards, a couple of questions if I may:

Touch up paint for the grey bumpers, where from?

My cigarette lighter socket isn't quite deep enough for secure connections and the actual lighter gets stuck in the fully depressed position in it. Thoughts?

Textured read bumper moulding strip, where can I find one cheaper than MB?

I'm picking it up in a couple of hours time after all the servicing work has completed -hopefully they'll have a seat ready for me to sit down on before hitting me with the bill

Due to the alternator being on back order from Audi GmbH it's been at the garage longer than Its been on the driveway !
