I would go deep sea blue on ivory, and buy some official black bmw mats. They'd look fine if you have a black top dash.
That's what I have and it looks great!
more interior pics please!!!

It appears not. Their first quote was way off starting with a 7, but I just showed them a Sytner quote and I am pretty sure they will match it.

I believe the "fast and effortless" bit, but for me it will never be "satisfying"

The only thing that may stop me buying the 6 is potentially :

No contest really unless the 6 was the 650 and even then the Mazzer would be more of an event!

agreed. there is one thing the 6 has over the mazzer though. interior; the mazzer's interior is pretty cheap rate IMO. i wonder what servicing bills would be on something like that compared to a 6?

but....just look at it. absolutely gorgeous.

hmmm always thought they weren't that nice, must be colour dependant as that looks good....though i still think the buttons for the telephone and the centre console in general look a little cheapy, but i could forgive it that for the looks.

i do think the interior in these look better though

though there is absolutely no denying that mazzer is gorgeous to look at.

I think the inside of the 6 series is the best BMW interior that they do!
I was going to change the 6 for a new M3 but I just could not live with the interior.

Ever since i did London-York in a Granturismo and fell in love with the car, there was always one thing that bugged me and it is mentioned above - the centre console.

I've mentioned it to people before and they've said things like "don't be stupid, look at the rest of the car" and "pfft, it's only some buttons". But it's the bit you see most of in the car, and interact with - i just wish they hadn't used the same satnav/stereo unit you could get in a Citroen C4...

I once chatted to the guy who headed up the interior project for the Granturismo when i worked for a few weeks at the Maser plant in Modena. He said the stereo was his single biggest regret about the interior, but they were forced to use an existing system on cost grounds. Such a shame, especially as it doesn't work very well.

I really like the 6 interior. Of course the BMW test car has the upgraded dash in leather etc. So will be interesting to see how the "standard" interior fares...

Thanks, no not the actual car, not seen it yet.

It is a Black on Black car. Nearly went for one with the Deep Sea Blue and Beige "Ivory Leather", but a) I don't like the idea of pale carpets, and b) our 3 series is the same colour combo more or less (Deep sea blue and Oyster).

The car is standard apart from the 20 inch alloys, but as you know the standard spec on these is incredibly generous with Prof Nav, Cruise, Heated memory sports seats, USB, telematics etc etc etc.

The only thing I will miss is a) head-up display and b)of course that V10.

Inside should look something like this..

jeez that interior really is nice. personally i'd prefer the other spec though i wouldn't moan at yours by any means!

you'll miss the V10 noise and performance for sure, but not the fuel bills.

Congrats, that pic is my current wallpaper! It's my colour combo, carbon black and ivory with 19"s!

Will look forward to your initial review and pictures.
