I have to disagree I rebuilt my cosworth engine once & then happily added another 70k to the car after that before selling it on, so it depends on how well it's been built.
Absolutely, the quality of the parts used, how well it was built, state of tune and how hard it gets driven are all variable factors that have a massive effect on the durability. I'm just going off my own experience however, both at work and in fast Ford circles. There will always be exceptions, but there's no way I'd commit to having something like a Sierra or Escort Cosworth as my sole means of transport.
Yep. I ran sapphire daily 2002-2004, parked on my drive never had any bother, yet my Vauxhall combo van suffers repeated break ins go figure. The cossie engine is a fine piece of engineering, problems occur because every engine was abused within an inch of its life, but the hardware is very high quality. I rebuilt a few, it's old fashioned, but extremely strong, would run 400 bhp for a good 60k if rebuilt and serviced correctly. The only escorts left now are show ponies, especially at the price they are. The integrale is silly money now as well. Both cars also are not a patch on an evo 5/6 to drive, imho.

I can call you Nick? Oh thanks, great are we going to be mates now after you've repeatedly insulted me and my wife as well as linking to other posts I've made attempting to whip up vitriol against me? People have feelings Frog. Your pompous, systematic abuse has consequences.
Can I add persecution complex to the list of issues ?

But hang on. In the other thread you decreed it was a "joke thread", can't I decree this is a "joke thread" too ? Can't you take a joke too ?

You introduced your wife in the discussion. Many here think you have serious issues (you probably need to read your posts and ask yourself why). She supports you (allegedly). The conclusion is pretty obvious. Btw, there is nothing wrong with the programme or the people in it. In an inclusive society, everyone is entitled to a relationship, I don't believe in ostracising people based on learning difficulties or whatever their issues are, I hope you agree.

I assume you still haven't driven the FRS so your participation here is pretty irrelevant, although let's not forget about "freedom of speech", or is it "freedom to troll" ?

For the record:

Cry me a river, do you ever just, stop? You know you can stop replying right?
He's a troll. He won't stop until people stop reacting to him. That's how trolling works.
