You say there is a postcode under the Porsche branding - There clearly isn't in the photo.
It has a fake BSAU mark, so the company producing it have commited fraud.

Your number plate is just as illegal as mine.

Have fun.

Are you honestly still going? Over the past week your true colours have really been shown, you've made yourself look rather silly, and yet you persist.

I've been patient and polite on the most throughout. I've already told you, I have a reader's car thread (just search ACCORD CL7), plenty of photos of my plate in there. Not that it really means anything because not once have I denied having a 'chavplate', nor have I made judgement on anyone who chooses to run a mispaced, butchered, no plate at all... As far as I'm concerned, it's their risk to take and says very little about their character.

The difference is that you've been extremely judgemental, condescending and in fact shown to be a hypocrite. Looking at the Porsche alone, I have no idea why you wouldn't run a traditional plate unless its an act of vanity (in your words). That's without looking at your other cars which I can only assume fall foul to similar applications.

Given that you continue to ramble after all this, I can only assume you are irrational at best, and unwell at worst. I've learnt that there is no winning, let alone mediating or coming to any kind of agreement with your type and therefore I'm going to draw a line and close this dialogue. No doubt you'll have some sort of cringeworthy reply, typical of the behaviour of a 12 year old, and if that makes you feel better than crack on.

Go look at my plate, by all means get angry. Hell, why not write a character report on who you think I am, I can assure you that you know nothing about me and my life, and by analysing my numberplate will not change that.

All the best AV – you're going to need it with your attitude.

So the hilarity continues as expected.

Liking the extreme defensive stance and foaming at the mouth by those with confirmed illegal plates.

Do you seriously think in all honesty that an official Porsche centre would allow a new car or any used car for that matter to be sold with illegal plates fitted by themselves? If you believe that, you need to have a serious word with yourselves.

I have had a considerable number of new Porsches and other relatively expensive cars for a considerable number of years now and can confirm that every single one has had the plate fitted at the official supplying dealer furthermore every single one has had the BS, name of the supplying dealer and their postcode displayed on the plate in line with the regs. In addition I can categorically state that I have never seen a new or even used car supplied by a good number of these official dealers who I deal with supplied with a plate which does not comply.

Even you could no doubt work out that my GT3 plate as a stick on would have been fitted by the OPC when the car was supplied new only last year therefore it remains original and unbutchered therefore must comply with the regs and be fully legal. To think otherwise is an absolute nonsense as to think that it in any way whatsoever can be compared to a butchered Chavplate which you openly admit to owning although for some reason you have still have not posted a picture as you agreed. rolleyes

A friend of mine took the front plate off his California as we got into France, he seemed to think it was a great idea, I questioned it at the time, I could see no benefits. We were pulled within hours at the very first Autoroute toll station.

hehe

Yeah course I am. scratchchin

Don't judge others by own self confessed inadequacies. rolleyes

And contrary to what you promised as expected you haven't even posted up your Chavplate.

Like I say all my plates have postcodes on and along with other requirements are perfectly legal.

And if you seriously think I am going to post up details of who supplied my £160k car on a public forum just so you can get all excited then you are more deluded than even I first thought. biggrin:

first for me this evening, I saw a car with the rear number plate removed and stuck in the back window.

Yes, the window was heavily tinted so you could barely see it
Yes, it was a VW

I see this is still going biggrin Cat amongst the vinyl pigeons time...

For some cars there is a halfway house. You have an official legal plastic plate which is mounted to a flipper. This way the plate can be vertical and on display as normal. Or it flips down horizontally and then slides way back out of sight in the shadows. So you always have a legal plate fitted to the car. It's position is merely adjusted to suit whether you are parked or not. Due to the design it only works on certain cars mind you.
