Saw this interior pic on the net, has a different info screen, and red bits.

Japanese spec maybe?

From what I’ve read on the rear seats issues - things are slightly tighter on the GR86 compared to the GT86.

Apparently the result of getting the driver 5mm lower means that its no longer feasible for rear seat passengers to get their feet under the seat in front which makes rear legroom that little bit worse.
That’s a bit of a shame
I did ( in the end ) get a test drive of a GT86 but it was too much of a squeeze even though my sons were young back then.

Happily, there’s still older cars around that fill the same brief for me, especially with a few small mods that people seem to do with the GT/GRs anyway

A question to those who ordered online, do you need to commit to a finance package at the time? Reason for asking is I have just been to a dealer who said they would wait until I had decided on how I was financing (size of deposit etc) before submitting the order and I am undecided on finance at this stage. (they also tried to lump on a nice £2700 of extras but I did get a brochure of sorts biggrin)

Rear seats won't be an issue for me. Day one they'll be folded flat and never used. I know it will easily swallow a set of wheels and a few other bits as I've done it on the GT86. Do need to check if bike fits with wheel off but should do.

You can do the finance app, or just tick cash purchase.

I’d not delay if you want a car quickly.

I was informed by Toyota Twickenham that dealer order books would open week 15. So it could be today or later this week.

Is there an options list then?
Thought the only option was for Paint

The only option I saw were,

1. Manual or automatic
2. Choose colour

I suppose some combination of the automatic gearbox and paint could come to £2,700?

Otherwise, that would be one hell of a Supagard treatment. They might even use a new sponge, rather than the one they've already used on half a dozen other cars!

Apparently that build link was actually some sort of internal test system that was made public by accident…

From page 2 of my order PDF (bottom of the page, under 'Interior / Comfort')...

"Electrochromatic auto-dimming rear view mirror"

So that's a yes, skip.

No, it was the most comprehensive set of (unnecessary) dealer options I have seen for a while, well apart from fuel for £25.

Front/rear dashcams (if I wanted after market for those it COULD invalidate the warranty....hmmm, OK), SMART repair insurance to avoid having to claim on mine or pay for repairs myself, GAP insurance, Supagard (obvs, but Bionic Pollysilzane kit no less) tyre and wheel insurance (up to 5 claims per year)

I misquoted the price though the £2700 included the paint option for £955, but I did exclude the VAT, so the options above were £2334.

People that ordered online, have you had the £99 (or whatever it is) charge actually appear on your respective card yet?
