RE: Ford Focus RS
Discussion
Wow, who would have thought a hatchback comparison would cause such controversy?
Autocar had another R26R Focus RS test.
In conclusion:
"The Focus RS is a wonderful car; I don't doubt it's the fastest series production front-drive car ever made. And if you want the best four-seat hot hatchback money can buy, look no further. But if you want the best driver's car... don't have friends."
Both fantastic cars. I'd be proud to own either!

so why and try and act like you are? and this technical data you want people to magic up rather than marketing spiel? where are we likely to find that?
enough is enough, i am sure you just do it to wind people up.
You don't magic data up, you ask Ford for it, but instead they dumb it down so it sounds better than it is, and then the marketing people sell even a turd as if it is something special! As said, have you actually READ some of the crap in the brochures of cars?
Enough isn't enough, I have a valid point and if you can't accept it/grasp it then it isn't my problem to stop making it.

No, enough IS enough! If it bothers you so much why don't YOU ask Ford for the data you so crave? That would leave the rest of us to enjoy motoring Your like a bloody stuck record.
I will just wait for a decent magazine like auto motor und sport or the likes to do a test with measured data in there instead, then at least it is comparable data measured the same way (on a side note, not sure why Evo stopped doing the corner weights vs claimed weights, dyno data etc in their reviews as it was quite interesting, hey ho )

I will just wait for a decent magazine To say its useless and The R26R is the only car worth having (on a side note, not sure why Evo stopped doing the corner weights vs claimed weights, dyno data etc in their reviews as it was quite interesting, hey ho )

The R26 makes more sense. I do celebrate the R26R for being the mad/fast version the right way mad/fast versions should be made though

and if you want data from ford you go ask for it because nobody else cares.
go and get yourself an r26 or a 123d, maybe it will make your life complete as i am sure they dont jazz things up at all in their brochures.
Has anyone read the Drivers Rebublic review yet?
After winning against the R26.R and the STI...
Congrats to Ford

Sounds like a pretty convincing case to me.Congrats to Ford

Just read that in Evo, think that sums it up very well. I think that also proves that in reality they're not direct rivals.A two seater hot hatch doesn't make sense to me. Sure it's great fun though. In conclusion:

What are your qualifications to decide upon my ability to be an authority on what I discuss?
Who made you an expert on deciding who is an expert on things you clearly don't care to, or want to, know anything about anyway?

oh and the 123d you think is crap... remember this? just another point to prove that you really change your mind like the weather.

in 2 months you will probably tell everyone how you always knew the focus RS could never have been better and is amazing.
