Keep comb back to this thread. Ticking all the options come to just over 35k
Is there anything else comparable at that price?
If you're looking at new cars - no I don't think there can be ? Is there anything else comparable at that price?
If including used cars the alternatives for me would be V8 Vantage or 911, but then you're looking at stuff several years old and unlikely to have the benefit of Manufacturers warranty. Plus you've then got the potential for some epic servicing / repair bills !

exactly. I heart set on waiting a few years and getting a V6s F type coupe. that is my plan.If including used cars the alternatives for me would be V8 Vantage or 911, but then you're looking at stuff several years old and unlikely to have the benefit of Manufacturers warranty. but brand new V8 mustang fully loaded for 35k is very very tempting.

How much leg room is in the back?
Not too bad actually (based on a 2006 model) I regularly have two passengers in mine and have had three for a short distance. The seats are full size bases so it's not like the little shelf seats you get in some 2+2's. You might want to put the shortest one behind the driver because there is a fair amount (again on the 2006 car) of movement in the seats to allow for leg room in the back. The only issue in the back for the taller person is the rake of the rear screen as you can bump your head on it.And to those worrying about poor weather performance on summer tyres I just drove to work in the snow on summer tyres (Hankook Ventus V12 evo2's) with the standard pressures in my 2006 car, ok so its ~96hp down on the new one but its still RWD on summer tyres (the local authorities had not gritted at all, thankfully the HA had gritted the major road I use).

This may have been asked before but why does an auto carry a premium? Its a yank car and I would imagine 99% would be sold with an auto box, in fact I would have thought a manual was an extra over there.
Same reason metallic paint costs extra here. Incidentally most metallics are free there but auto is an option, albeit on about 80% of Mustangs and around 95% of the market as a whole.CYMR0 said:
