Too much talk about S1s on here recently (this thread, and other threads).
Keep looking at box-fresh S1 classifieds, as I've always wanted one.

I thought this might be appreciated here - http://www.thecoolcars.nl/alpina-b3-3-3-touring-e4...
I actually really like the cloth and it has a manual box! I just wish Alpina offered a RHD option with three pedals.

Hasn't that 'no option' CSL been up for months now? People are asking around the £70k mark but are they actually moving for that money?Crook said:

Hmmm.. Not sure it's that bella in my eyes.More like an italian lady who in her youth was beatiful, lithe and carefree, but in later years has piled on the pounds and turned into a big mamma...
I'd much rather have it without bodykit, with original wheels, etc.

I'm thinking more Bella with regards the package as opposed to the pretiness so perhaps I should've chosen a different word
Maybe more buona than bella then (and that's just about exhausted my italian)Oh and I posted this on t'other thread earlier....

Wow - it's the 'grales little brother. Don't see many of them any more. And doesn't it looks emasculated with the narrow wings.£4500

Keeping the Italian theme running......
I've just sat and listened to this, turned up to 11, and.....well.....just watch it for yourself.
No music, no narrative, no flappy paddles, just pure and unadulterated 250 GTO noise onboard footage;
Enjoy

Yes - Elise S1 interior is brilliant. Having had an S1 new back in '99, I think I'd want to try a different engine next time (eg that duratec above, or a S160) but that yellow one looks just like new.And from the same website (but from the othe end of the Elise spectrum!) I love this:

awesome - one of my fave videos.I still haven't watched the Petrolicious video about the guy who built a testarossa in his shed (or something along those lines).
i was going to finally watch it ealier this week but got distracted by all 52 minutes of the Chris Harris P1-v-LeFerrari-v-918 film - it's a bit cringey in places, but bloody hell what an awesome set of cars. The LaFerrari looks really tricky to drive on the limit, but the P1 looks spot on - especially with super sticky tyres and hunkered down in race mode. Much want indeed.
The provenance with this is outstanding......anyone lend me a few $? Well, $30m?

This car failed to sell at Brooklands Historics last weekend. Possibly a sign it is a bit pricy. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
