That M3 is a dog. Cat C, no history (and the seller is a liar with "warranted mileage), and £5.5k? You'd have to be a REAL fanboy/trusting fool to go anywhere near that at that money, IMO.

And as for the Princess... redcard

Oh, thats a bit harsh. He's got great feedback like this, "Took deposit, no contact then refunded with 'in accident & in police compound'.."

"arguably the best performance in the E36 range"....really ?

I thought the 316 was the one to have for speed.

Just been browsing the PH classifieds, thinking of a budget Mk2 MR2 when I get back to the UK. Ye gods they are absolutely awful when browsing on a phone. Jumping all over the place, trying to auto fill any email enquiry boxes, absolutely awful.

Ok, so the seller seems like one to avoid but E36s are on the rise and that looks like it's been a well loved car. Obviously you'd want an inspection and a chunk off the price, but perhaps as a car to keep it could be nice and most cars lose their history after a write-off.

Anyway, check this out.

That 628 CSi is a rare spec for a late car. Most of the mid 80s cars were Highlines with BBS wheels, leather etc, a base spec car like that is very rare.

When you say "pamper", do you mean "fix the suspension"?

I bet the reason it won't fit in the seller's wife's car park is because it won't get over the sodding speedhumps. Call me a miserable old bugger but "stancing" is a quick way to ruin a car.

I remember, many moons ago when my brother had a Metro, with the hydrospastic suspension, he was shown by the local boy racer idiots how to lower the car by basically dumping all the fluid out of the bags. Which he did, whilst parked in the local boy racer idiot car park with speed humps. He needed a flatbed and vehicle hoist to get it out of the car park. tt.

I'm with you. It takes a special sort of peasant to take an otherwise lovely car like that and think that trashing the suspension and sticking on some ghastly wheels somehow improves it.

He probably paid through the nose for the privilege too, the ignorant, punchable little arsewipe

To me, "stanced" cars always look like fat birds whose knee joints have gone.
