V nice, I went from a saloon c43 to an estate. Can’t really fault them, I tried the c63 but it felt like the engine was a bit too much, the c43 just feels right. In sport it is very entertaining, sport+ is a bit erratic I find.
I love my C43. Had it 3 years now. It's been my only car and I've covered 30k miles and used it for everything including 3 Euro trips. Thinking of changing it for a C63 estate now as its been relegated to a 2nd car.
Test drive one and see what you think, with the 2 wheel drive and barnstormer of an engine, for me it went from comfortable, fast, mile muncher to more a drama queen, whereby you might just get a bit worn out by it.

Loved my C63, the engine and chassis were brilliant. The pre facelift 7 speed was a bit lumpy and slow but perfectly acceptable. The biggest drawback (for me) was interior, it felt chintzy. Great car nonetheless, and with prices starting in the mid-20s they’re a great buy in my opinion.

I reckon it was in fact a 330d and he's taken the hump after that comment!

F11 or G21? I think you could just sneak in with the F11 3.0l 30i, not the 4 pot though.

admittedly the definitely of 'fast' has moved on considerably in recent years if you look at the performance per £ of mass market and practical cars, but even so anything under... 7 seconds (?) or so to 60 is still what I'd class as quick.

E61!

Well that's a few positive responses so I'll have to give it a good clean and find a healthy location for a photo this weekend then wont I!

Pushing it.. M5/550/545 ahead of you.. 530’s scraping minimum requirements to be a ‘proper’ BMW let alone a fast one. laugh

Good luck!

Kudos for a nice and rare petrol engined rarity, however.

In the slow lane ofc hehe

As an owner of a 330i, I think it counts! Obviously it’s inferior as it doesn’t have 500HP or whatever. wink

Yep, lovely that. Fast is relative, that was bought by the previous owner over a 520D as they enjoyed driving. Those 3 litre sixes are an all time engine too.

It's lovely. You don't see many unmolested E61s about anymore.

If I squint I can see a lot of Z3M breadvan design cues in it.
