The 'clocks' are just held in with rubber seals. you can pull them all out or indeed rotate them.

Looks like the driver of that has rotated the rev counter so the limit is at 12 oclock.

I have done the same with my speedo because if I sit with one hand at the top which is my want. I cant see how fast i'm going officer.
