Wow. Double take! I've been loitering around here looking at big old Mercs since my trusty (not really) P38 decided to call it day. Went through looking, and driving, all the cars you have on the list, plus some you should have.
I finally ordered a contract hire C63 Estate for 500 a month, arrives in a few weeks.

Bloody hell that's cheap. What's the deposit, may I ask? I finally ordered a contract hire C63 Estate for 500 a month, arrives in a few weeks.

The devil in me says to lease an NA C63 AMG before large, NA engines are no more but I thought I'd look at buying outright for similar money to the lease deposit.

It has had standard wheels on it all the many times it has appeared for sale here before for a couple of years...
What's the story with it Z, do you know? Not to my taste at all, but I'd be surprised if there isn't any love for it; makes me wonder if there is something more sinister at play?
I'd like to try a 500e but that's been very much changed in terms of suspension etc.
Evening gents, I really shouldn't but, are there any issues foreseen when removing the body kit on this one? i..e Is it as straightforward as unbolting it?

How the hell does that work? I'm a major shareholder in a Ltd Co that also employs me, but at a basic rate salary. I'm a committed bargist (W124 wagon) but please explain how I can get a C63 in my life!
+1About to go contract again and interested in this. The C63 leases that I had been looking at were 'personal' as I thought that it ended up 'better' with all the BIK and company tax etc (though I hadn't spent tooooo much time on it)!

Is there not company car tax on it doing it that way?
I'm a partner in a LLP so zero BIK.However, HMRC is looking at the situation, as of course there are quite a lot of people taking advantage of it. I'd expect the BIK exemptions to be closed down in the not too distant future.

one sniff of an AMG 6.3 complete with fake leather and rubber band tyres and terrible ride and we're queueing up to drop our pants
Have you been in, or driven one? Terrible ride? I didn't think so, more than adequate. You could counter this and say the W124 steers like a complete boat which doesn't inspire anywhere near as much confidence as a C63.one sniff of an AMG 6.3 complete with fake leather and rubber band tyres and terrible ride and we're queueing up to drop our pants
Fake leather? Only one I've been in had the upgraded leather, but it was real, of that I'm sure. The seats were absolutely superb and more comfortable/supportive than the W124 seats I went in.
Rubber band tyres? Do you mean a small sidewall? And that's a problem, how exactly? I think the ride is fine.....I'll admit the one I have driven (briefly) but spent a fair few miles in was on 18's, no 19's.
