I still don’t think you bikers are even understanding what I’m on about, which is probably part of the problem.
There is no problem except for the one in your head. I suggest you get a dash cam and beep your horn a bit, that'll show 'em.
Doh that's what this thread is about
Ease up, hold back and this thread would be empty..

If all the bikers didn't filter and behaved the same and occupied the same space as a car, do you think your commute would be shorter, longer or the same?
Now that's a good point and any rational thinking person will know the correct answer, but I wonder how the bike haters will answer it?Maybe they will choose to ignore it, which is probably their best option.

Love the understated comment from police officer: 'Oh my word' !! Obviously not Australian. (Edit for missing word!)

Isn’t that exactly the same question for the bikers to answer? As a biker, if bikes didn't filter, my commute would be a hell of a lot longer.
As a driver, if bikes didn't filter, my commute would be a hell of a lot longer.

For the duration of the T junction right turn we’re talking about - fully accept the bike will come past me (probably on a corner, on double white lines, etc.) 2 minutes later.

How would my commute be longer if the bike didn’t filter, when the bike’s behind me?

This is not complicated stuff. For the duration of the T junction right turn we’re talking about - fully accept the bike will come past me (probably on a corner, on double white lines, etc.) 2 minutes later.

The ones in front of you wouldn't be filtering either. The bike saves queuing time by filtering but I don’t save time by the bike filtering, and the time for the bike to turn right is the same.

If a bike in front of me queues in line and turns right - how is that slower (for me) than the bike filtering forward and turning right?
The bike saves queuing time by filtering but I don’t save time by the bike filtering, and the time for the bike to turn right is the same.
Imagine a universe which contains more than one bike. The bike saves queuing time by filtering but I don’t save time by the bike filtering, and the time for the bike to turn right is the same.
