The car should have been tucked in behind in the single LH turn lane, following (they assumed, if she thought at all) the cyclist around the LH turn.

Because cyclist there was the opportunity to turn L from a SA lane, she thought.

Surely the safest way to cross that junction by the cyclist.

On the basis that the car driver was fined, who’s the moron?

Lots are saying this is the correct lane for the cyclist. Anyone got a source to confirm? Best I can find is how to do a hook right turn from a left only lane.
in the UK, as a cyclist I'd pick the same position as him. Its really bad to be in a position where cars are flowing faster than you on both sides of you - you have no escape route and its easy to get missed in traffic flow - so taking the "dominant" position in the left lane (on the run-up to the junction) means no-one can over-take you on the left and there should be plenty of space/time to move to the right hand lane over the duration of the lane. This busy mini-roundabout near me I take the same approach when going straight-on - middle/right of the left-hand lane

I don't know if things would be different in the US - but I'd also say that is the kind of junction I'd try to avoid on a bike. Its harder in the US (as lots of the roads are 3 lanes in each direction, with fast moving traffic).

1:40 - how the hell do two people have a head-on in broad daylight with no-one else involved???
With such an obsession in Oz with speeding, I wonder if they just need mandatory eye-tests instead... I mean almost every clip there is just someone not paying attention, maybe because they're wasted as well.

RIP grandad grandma.

9.50 is just pure karma.
Range Rover tt hopefully got a ban for that, it'd be better if his insurance company told him to go suck a dick too so he ended up on the hook for repairing it.
Would that not be 50/50 ?
Given how aggresively the RR tt was driving? Not sure, I suppose the car turning right should have checked his mirrors too, I certainly would have done because of death wish bikers.

Whilst there's certainly a safety logic in looking in your mirror before turning right, the Highway Code specifically prohibits overtaking past a junction.

...so the RR is, from a police/insurance perspective, 100% in the wrong. It's the same, albeit at a lower speed, as the video from a few months back of two hot hatches chasing each other and the Golf getting clipped by someone turning right.

It's a "DO NOT" rather than "MUST NOT" i.e. the law, but in this case I'd say the RR is definitely incorrect.

The clip before wasn't much better.
Driving far to fast for the traffic conditions and then surprised when someone appears between the cars.
Maybe he was calling himself the idiot.
That's Adam B - he's an utterbell whiff.

Most of his clips involve him going too fast for the conditions/ situation.

I can't see any repeaters and going by the road light spacing, I assume that's a 30. He tops out at 47mph,

Complete prick.

If anything went t1ts there'd be little left to donate. Truly frightening stuff, esp the no-gloves one.

Ha! I thought "no gloves?" too then realised that was the least of his issues should something happen, you know, on the off chance!

The first clip, with those 2 on the twisties was utterly insane, could easily have taken out other people

And don't forget the car was in the wrong lane for turning left, wasn't indicating, and wasn't paying any attention at all, OK cyclists should have been in the other lane, but probably thought staying there was a better option.
