Some good ones on there - lots of impatient people
Indeed, why do people post up dashcam footage when they are just as much to blame as the 'offender'?
Felt genuinely sorry for the first cammer though falling victim to some random unit apparently running out of talent while trying to handbrake a Landie round a corner.

Nothing the cammer could do, nowhere to go. Genuinely innocent.

Does make a change though, as you say.

Very true, I sometimes wonder if they do it because it's illegal to flash their lights. The Dutch are a mystery all to themselves.
st, is it?

I've probably been lucky not to get pulled over then...

Dutch... hehe
(One of the most scared I've been in a car was being driven for a night out by an old uni friend's husband - she'd emigrated to near A'dam, met a nice Dutchman, settled down...Becky and I went to visit...I've NEVER wanted dual-controls on my side of the car so much!!! eek )

I've found Belgians to be far worse.

I'm convinced that Belgian driving instructors use Ronin as reference material. biggrin

Hmm, apparently not! It's definitely considered rude though, a German friend of mine was shocked over here how often it happens.

They're legendary for bad driving, along with Belgians, but I never know why - their roads aren't really any different to the rest of western Europe imho.

Old news.

"Arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, taking a vehicle without consent, driving without insurance and being in possession of cannabis"

Unfortunately this video may shake the faith of those who cling to the hope that Germany is the last bastion of high driving standards...

Surprisingly similar to UK dashcams in that it's mostly minor cock-ups and red light jumpers, with an occasional blaring horn "could have seen that a mile off" non-incident.
It's like watching Japanese porn.

Yes, I know. It is a) fiction and b) old, but with the many JV and CM posted, surely something to make you smile is allowed.

Most do, they don't expect DCWs to be in other cars. It would have been interesting to know what penalties they received.

My emotions towards people like that Audi driver alternate between annoyance and pity. Let's face it, nobody with anger issues so severe that they get so ridiculously worked up over a minor disagreement on the roads can be in a good place mentally, or has a life that's working out as they'd hoped.

The world is a pretty rough place, particularly in the past few years. Lots of people are clearly not coping.

Its weird, so desperate to save a couple of seconds by pulling a cunning stunt like that, then, if someone objects has all the time in the world to go through their repertoire of brake testing, swearing, shouting, weaving etc etc.

Would never want anyone to lose their head mashed along the side of a HGV, but had it happened there would have been a certain poetic justice amongst the horror, though as "that kind" of Audi driver (They arent all like that) I suspect it would have been a minor inconvenience and could likely carry on quite normally without a brain, it seems largely unused anyway, possibly even not to be found in the cranium, likely about three feet lower down, round the rear...

Probably a light sentence really, not sure what went on before the footage, but from the report, and the video I'm guessing old man Kadjar driver took exception to biker filtering, words exchanged, then a "mirror slap", then this act of lunacy.

Wow, thats one of the worst dangerous driving videos I've seen. Lucky they recovered the dashcam.

Worryingly, this is a fairly common mentality now, although not enacted to this degree very often!

Bloody hell, I think that's the worst case of red mist I've ever seen! Obviously I lol'd at the biker realising he'd bitten off way more than he could chew but that was mental.

You should try the "new" 4 lane motorways with no hard shoulder. The old middle lane hoggers are now chuntering along in lane 3 of 4.
At least it's safer to undertake them in lane 1 now as you have lane 2 as a buffer.
