Wrong front bumper.
Wrong seats
Wrong steering wheel
Door handles and bonnet vents not colour coded.
That's just what I can note from the off, as not a huge fan of them! (prefer the ST, value wise) Also, has an ST badge on the grill, doesn't even know what it wants to be!

This was in classic ford magazine years ago, If I recall he wanted it to look more American muscle car which I think works well. It might be a 2.8 v6 powering itSpeed 3 said:

As I get older, I like older cars, I remember when Capris, granadas, cortinas, etc, were awful but now they're cool. Odd.

I like it too. The builder/owner must prefer the older style rear lights, they're Mk2 ones, and it's a Mk3 being from 1985. The only bit I'm not so keen on is the rear haunch / swage line he's added, but that's just me.But I like this as a modern incarnation - The rear lights could do with an update though...

It's far from a good replica and any car person knows it isn't what they say it is, but on the surface, at a glance, from anyone that doesn't care enough to be sure, they would think it's a ford sports car.
It does of course leave the question, "Whats the point if only the people who don't care are the only ones that can be fooled?" Short answer, its a pointless effort I guess...

No it's not perfect and it wouldn't fool anyone that knows anything about the ST or RS, but it would fool much of Joe public and that makes it a reasonable replica.

I think most people who aren’t into cars are just going to see a Ford Focus even when a real RS goes past, or more likely just going to see a green hatchback. It's far from a good replica and any car person knows it isn't what they say it is, but on the surface, at a glance, from anyone that doesn't care enough to be sure, they would think it's a ford sports car.

The fake RS is just a Ford Focus, or a hatchback to Joe Public, and a fake RS to people who know.

Sports cars are lightweight, 2 seaters with a folding type simple canvas top.
The RS is a fast 4 seat hatchback. Pedantry is strong.
