Im a bit torn on this one.Not a bad effort I say...
Wrong front bumper.
Wrong seats
Wrong steering wheel
Door handles and bonnet vents not colour coded.
That's just what I can note from the off, as not a huge fan of them! (prefer the ST, value wise) Also, has an ST badge on the grill, doesn't even know what it wants to be!

It's far from a good replica and any car person knows it isn't what they say it is, but on the surface, at a glance, from anyone that doesn't care enough to be sure, they would think it's a ford sports car.
It does of course leave the question, "Whats the point if only the people who don't care are the only ones that can be fooled?" Short answer, its a pointless effort I guess...
Sports cars are lightweight, 2 seaters with a folding type simple canvas top.
The RS is a fast 4 seat hatchback. Pedantry is strong.

It doesn't matter if it isn't a sports car, that's what my mam would call it as she has no real clue about cars, even though she has lived with a house full of car and bike nuts. That's my point really, its good enough for my mam to recognise it as a "sports car" and she wouldn't think twice about calling it that, equally, she wouldn't care either way what it is.
But, what I think everyone other than you will agree on is that it's ste and that they wouldn't be seen dead in it. As per is the case with 99% of replica cars.
Its just embarrassing making the car look fast, then it having the lovely note of a 2.0 4 cylinder diesel.

No it's not perfect and it wouldn't fool anyone that knows anything about the ST or RS, but it would fool much of Joe public and that makes it a reasonable replica.

Is the owner happy, if so why is he is selling it
Worrying that is has been bid to over £5k plus he thinks it is running 215bhp.
A 2009 Focus with 116k on it and people are prepared to pay over £5k, the world has gone mad.

the whole market is nuts at the moment but for the life of me I can't understand someone paying over £5k for it...

'Rear wiper delete'; that is a terrible thing to do to a mark two Focus hatchback, as anyone who has driven one will attest.
Rear wiper deletes are stupid. Would rather be able to see out the rear window when reversing. I know you can use products on the window, but still, a wiper is better.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
