My god, that McLaren GT is hideous.

The proportions, not just the colour or the chrome.
What a mess. The Cullinan has shorter overhangs and better proportions!!
And looks like a blinged up London Taxi.

That makes two of us. I think it's a fantastic looking car.

Haven’t posted from Tokyo for a while as I can never get the photo upload to work. But here are a few shots whilst it seem to be working...
Is having a LHD car in Japan seen as cool or something? The European cars that you see always seem to be LHD even though every one of those cars is available in RHD

I lived there for 8 years and asked the very same question. Apparently it's a prestige thing that dates back to the immediate post-war period when the only foreign cars in Japan were American and all LHD. It's virtually impossible to buy any high-end car in Japan in RHD form despite the fact they drive on the left like us. Go to any Ferrari or Lamborghini dealer for example and they'll generally only have LHD cars in the showroom and for sale. There's loads of non-franchised grey market dealers there importing European vehicles given the above. All toll-booths and carparks have machines on the left and right to accommodate this peculiarity.

Spot on, couldn’t have explained it better.

As the upload is working, or because I’ve finally learned how to use it, here are some more Tokyo shots...

Yes. It's a little bit MORE exotic. A little bit MORE prestigious.

There's been all sorts of cars at this place over the years, old Rollers, coaches, American buses, Ford Pops...

I pulled in because the place was selling Christmas trees and happene upon the Morgan laugh

I know the owner of that place - he runs a business restoring old Rolls-Royces and Bentleys, and has all kinds of unusual stuff in his yard at any given time. He owns the Italian Job coach that you can see in the background of one of the pics of the Morgan and has also got a replica of the white Dormobile from the film. I'm told he also leaves old bikes outside on the pavement at night, so the local chavs try to nick them and don't notice the other stuff hidden away in the yard!

WRT the above Rolls Royce tow car pictures, near to me there is a family business that used to have wedding cars and seems to buy and sell various older RR and Bentley stuff.

Outside recently was one of these (not actual car)

Towing a trailer loaded with one of these (again not the actual car)

If I see it again, I promise to stop and take a picture

Ok - probably not a super car - but a filthy dirty 993 Turbo out in Bath has to be in with a shout?
