Cry for help right there, Shirley?
Like anything, compared to the lardy lumpy crud on the roads today, that suddenly looks like a racey coupe....

There was a very similar one around the corner from me. I actually thought the above one was it, as last time I went to check on it; it wasn't there and Lincoln is only 20 miles away. I've never seen it move and the MOT history is quite interesting, It had been laid up since 2014 but did get tested in 2022 and showed a total of >19k miles. I'm glad it did get an MOT, I had been a little concerned it might just get scrapped given its time off the road.

How much of a bad idea would this be ?!

scratchchinears
Reviewers hate them - owners tend to love them

Proper old school 4x4
They’re incredibly capable and very under rated. Weirdly I ended up on the press launch for the facelift version in 1998, we did a lot of fairly demanding off road and they didn't miss a beat. If you can find a tidy one go for it.

Primera eGT, £3k. Too old for ulez sadly, and probably double what they cost 2 years ago, but there must be so few available now...

Much prefer the earlier cars, personally, but that does look clean!

Sorry but this one is a GT not an eGT which were the earlier ones. I have a GTLE in Nordic Blue in storage. It one made to celebrate the BTCC championship win.

Turbo wheels. Is that a Turbo 2 badge on the bootlid? Love the plate too.

I am liking the Primeras too.

Yeah there's a 1993 primera e GT parked on the side of the A41 in the Wirral near my office. It appears to still be in use and according to "how many are left" is the only one of that year left still road legal...wonder what it's worth?

Don't see these anymore - still a useful old gal !

That's lovely. Had a dark green one back around 98/99.
Is a great workhorse and also very comfy from I remember.

Hopefully, the same rules apply on here regarding relaxed Friday budget as on the barge thread.

Remember when BMW used to make really good looking cars?

I know its "only" the baby six, but just look at it!

Whats really interesting is that going back 10 or 20 years - those black non colour colded bumpers, small bottle cap wheels, orange indicators, glossy non metallic red, cloth seats would all be seen as pretty gross and poverty. Now I think that looks very, very good.

Bit of a stretch even for a Friday though hehe
