ot quite sure why he keeps putting caption saying about how he let a few cars in further back. What's that got to do with it? Or is he just pointing out that there is no way he is going to let anyone else merge into "his" lane?
Everyone appears to be merging in turn quite happily until the Audi cocksockets decide to put in an appearance.

If you watch that carefully it would appear the lady walking attempts to trip the jogger up!

He's under no obligation to assist anyone who has attempted to overtake without ensuring they could complete the pass and reenter the left lane without inconveniencing/annoying other traffic.

Having made an error, the onus is on the mental blonde women to wait until she can safely merge.

Not what some 'merge in turn justifies all mentalists' want to hear I know, but that's how it is.

She overtook, she did not merge in turn.

No she doesn't, he pushes, she pivots on one leg and the other leg comes up giving that impression - definitely pushed first.

Why would you even wait around, let alone for over an hour!

As soon as she moved out of the way I'd have just carried on tbh
I'd have done the same. The whole "You made me drive into the cones" bullsh!t. You'd claim that if you were doing 50mph and someone pulled across you but that was just here determination to push in so she'd rather drive into the cones than just concede and filter in behind.

He could have let her in but again one of those drivers who drives and assumes she's entitled for someone else to give way.

She was clearly a mental case even if the dash cam driver could have given way to her. Strictly speaking did he have to give way to her? Probably not.

She was completely in front of him, before the cones, so I would say he should've let her in.

if there's space for not one, not two, but three cars to get past you in the R/H lane, that's a clue you might have merged a bit early.

Mental case with a sense of entitlement or not, it would have cost him absolutely nothing to let her in.

I agree with PH merge expert here. The mistake he made was to let anyone in from the right.

You see the way merge in turn should work is that you don't let anyone in prior to the last 10yrds so there is a big queue in both lanes and a perfect zipper merge all happening like a military ballet in the last 10 yrds

Nice one centurion.

Compared to you, I'm the world's foremost authority on merging! rofl

Be surprised if he doesn't get in trouble for that, has to be on the weight limit for a Freelander, they're only rated to 1700kg braked, trailer and van combined, would put him borderline, if not over.

Aren't you supposed to just lift off as opposed to braking, if that starts to happen?
