I wonder why there are covers on both front seats? Ex taxi?
Likely ex taxi. Probably smells like drivers ar5e crack dipped in onion gravy mixed with every variety of magic tree as per usual taxi whiff..

Even for a commercial vehicle, this is going some. 2019 V Class. 1m km in 3 years. That's about 200k miles per year!!!

580 miles every day for 365 days/year. All for a bargain price of just 18900 euros.

Driver must be thoroughly shagged out hehe
Id love to know more about vehicles like this. Amazing.

My vans do around 5 to 600 miles a day that's around 300k in 3 years ish ! The warranty is out at around 12 months and these days you dont always get engines to last the full 3 years We have replaced 3 engines in the last two years ( Citroen Relays / Pug Boxers)

We are European sameday couriers and I am guessing this van has also been on Euro long distance courier work

Presumably this mileage is shared among a couple of drivers (or more..?) I'm just curious about the logistics that keep a vehicles' wheels turning almost continuously.

Yes you are right its not the same driver as the other poster said they would be shagged .!
We have vans on day work all over the UK Europe and a night time run between Exeter and Heathrow

So a van could be running all day and It could do 400 miles and return in time for the night shift . Driver 2 will do the Heathrow run and that van has doe 800 miles in 24 hours ! While it might stun most it is no big deal to me as it has been my life for 30 years ! .

I have been doing a regular trip myself lately between Bodmin and Harrow and that is 600 miles in a day (not every day !) and I think nothing of doing that in fact I love every minute of it . !

I could get in a van this afternoon and drive it to straight Athens with very little stopping . Its what I do and what Im used to .I am very lucky to be in the business I enjoy . I have driven over 3 million miles !

A lucky man indeed.... I drove a 7.5t truck all over the UK for a couple of years in my early 20s and today, 25 years later) it still remains my favourite job and if the arse ever fell out of the IT arena I'd be back to driving (ideally Euro) like a shot. As a singleton with no family I can think of no better job!

I’ve never driven as my job but think nothing of jumping in my car with a trailer and driving from Inverness to London and back to pickup a car. Round trip over 1200 miles and 24+ hours with maybe 3 stops for food/toilet total (1 at the end while collecting the car).

I just enjoy driving and find it easy to pass time.

All very well and good, as I have done 1,200 miles in just over a day happily. However, can't imagine doing that all the time!

Thank you, it makes sense! I've regrettably not had much exposure to proper long distance driving, I do a lot of time in cars, but not distance - once racked up over 100 miles one day going round and round the same 1.7 mile test loop, that was a little tedious! My longest drive is just to the Nurburgring (1 day there, 1 day test, 1 day back, 1000 miles total), but I did really enjoy devouring miles on the continent and would happily do it if the chance arose.

The million km Merc is certainly doing something but it's a people carrier not a cargo carrier.

Total sidebar but I never understand people who don't post even a single interior pic when trying to sell a car. Barring deliberate omission in the case of a total chicken coop, it seems an odd thing to forget to do.

It’s quite common, annoyingly. 20 pictures of the outside from every angle, none of the interior.

Agree, I want to see the interior and engine bay before I set out on another wasted trip.

Yeah I’m intrigued how the interior has held up

I keep looking at it, if it wasn't 4hrs away I think I'd have reached the stage of trying to arrange a viewing a few days ago.

I misss long distance driving. Not quite to the level some people here are, but I used to frequently do Paris, Rennes, Frankfurt or Stuttgart to Newcastle upon Tyne, and I really enjoyed it. I now spend an hour a day doing 13 miles and it is far less enjoyable.
