Is that dodgy-looking spacing legal on GBG?

Not my pic, but saw this at NEC on Saturday. Plate value vs car value?

Yes pretty sure it's legal - even on a five digit plate '1's' can appear quite close together. That plate is probably worth more than the car was brand new!

At first glance I thought somebody had stolen the plate leaving two strips of double sided tape.

White new shape Boxster, joined the M4 at junction 12.
Number plate was W3BBR, was it, I wonder? A certain Ex F1 driver?
Sadly I was in the Zr and couldn't keep up.

SU51 ZOE

Spotted tonight, on what I thought looked very much like a badly driven Ford Fiesta. DVLA, and Cartell.ie, on the other hand, both show it as being on a blue, 2007, Mercedes A180 Avantgarde 2 litre CDI.

I confess to not being a fan of personalised plates in any form, but to get two separate names displayed on a single plate, with no need to mis-space or butcher characters seems to be a clever trick to pull off.

I see that quite often, belongs to Ribby Hall near Blackpool.Last time I saw it I was thinking it should be renamed the Blue Cloud on account of the colour and volume of emissions from the exhaust!
