A K-series with a busted temperature gauge? What could possibly go wrong?

The cooling fan is permanently on and the needle is in the red......but it's not overheating, honest!

Does the newer Mini have a known issue with a lack of downforce?

Haha, apply a little bit of downforce to that and it will collapse those flimsy uprights

That's what I was thinking.

Might not be to everyone's tastes, but it looks to be well done.

Sadly those wings are becoming more common in the MINI world

Might be 'well done' in its execution, but it fits thread title as far as I'm concerned.

It's not specific to the MINI world, it's become the next stupid meme after overly cambered wheels and stretched tyres..

This car (living quarters) is quickly becoming somewhat of a running joke in my family, possibly yours too if you've ever been near Fleetwood. Now, for arguments sake, I have to say I have a certain admiration for the owner, so obviously convinced of his/her (his obviously) own certainty that this was the way to go when faced with the question "how do I make a mid nineties Ford sierra stter and more comfortable to sleep in...?"

I assure you, this car is infamous even in Ford Sierra circles. I must have seen it close to a dozen times in different places in the past year or so. It's such a strange thing overall that I'm cautiously optimistic it might be an older man's pride and joy, for given how often I see pictures of it, it must surely be in daily service.

For some reason it reminds me of the u bend on the back of a toilet bowl.

They made them for the Sierra (and Scorpio, presumably with plastic wood and leather) too according to that link.
