I can remember seeing (i think) F45TER on a db9 a while ago on the m25
It's on an old Lotus Elan now, i think. Very good plate, I reckon.

'C11AVY' is on a big Iveco box van. I'll bet that gets a few laughs laugh

P555 MDS on a Range Rover

Nothing wrong with that you might think. But it was space P5 55 MDS, I'm guessing he's trying to make it look newer.

That's a real desperate attempt, maybe he cold deed pole his name to N8TH J then it will still be st but at least when people took the piss he could say it's his name or he could spend £12 and but some plates with N8 THJ on them so everyone did'nt think he was a or one even easier solution he could have saved himself about £300 in the first place and not bothered at all....a better solution in my opinion.

Rubbish, i'm even more confused about the black number plate bolt after the 'P' What is that doing there?

ETA I've just noticed the stick on letters below the right hand light saying 'PETE' it seems as though he is missing a few stick on letters because it should say 'PETE IS A '

Not sure if I like it or not. The owner hasn't messed with it at all, but uses a quirky play on words;

DOH 80Y

On a BMW near my way. It makes me chuckle when I think the owner has modelled himself on this chap;

A guy I know has DOE 80Y
The son of my neighbour across the road had P4UL M on his Puma
I saw PEN15 many many years ago, long before every Tom Dick or Harry had such plates. Not sure of the make - possibly a Bentley - as I only got a fleeting glimpse of it on someone's drive. I think it belonged to someone in the field of <cough> 'adult entertainment' <cough>.

Maybe its not personal plate at all?

Have to say as a newbie around here I struggle to spot the difference between the chav plates thread, the cool plates thread and the new sporty plates thread. Basically, some people like private plates and some don't.

Spotted a Rolls Royce Phantom DHC on the A12 just by the Orwell Bridge. I think these are vulgar at the best of times, but the licence plate "MOO13E" tweaked to read "MOORE" really looked naff.

And I have a private plate, so cannot be accused of being prejudiced.

What surprises me is how so many people are getting away with these totally illegal plates and not getting pulled over for them.

I got pulled over because I didn't have a postcode on my plates! The plates were legal and everything, but just no postcode at the bottom. WTF is with that.

Saw a BMW 5 series with fake M5 badges and four exhausts . The plate was D15 SYS but messed with to look like DIS SYS. Wondered if the guy was a computer programmer then it dawned on me that in chav speak it was meant to say "diss this".

Checking its actually a 525D, not an M5.

Without the postcode your plates weren't "legal and everything" as you found out.

I saw a plate that read 'M BUG M' on a VW Beetle, I can only assumed it was M13 UGM, but the 1 and 3 were pushed right together, leaving no gap.
