Not even close apart from maybe the colour and not even rare
fk me keyboard commandos are out today. Yes it's a Audi but as for the colour how many have you seen in that colour? So there for in line either the thread title it counts are a rarity It's an Audi. Maybe you like Audis? I don't know. I don't, I like Fords. But if you can go into a dealership and buy one on a bloody 'purchase plan' to pay monthly yet never actually 'own' the car, then it ought not to be regarded as being a 'supercar' or even a 'rarity'. Sorry, but that'd open the qualifying criteria for this thread way too far. I'm being serious now - when was the last time Ferrari or McLaren (or any other 'proper' supercar manufacturer) felt the need to run a TV advert late at night on Channel 5 to implore you to buy one of their cars? The R8, or Ford GT may be considered to be supercars, but the rest of the output of Audi and Ford certainly isn't. Certainly not with 4/5 doors and 5 seats, FFS! High performance? 4.2 litres of RS4 Quattro? I'd hope so. But not a 'supercar'.
And for the love of decipherable written language, can we have your post again, but in English this time? And a capital 'F' for the start of a sentence (as in... Fk ), with a full stop at the end. Please?

It's an Audi estate though. I'm sure it's brilliant, I trust when you say it's a rare colour, but nobody is clicking this thread in the hope of seeing an Audi estate...

Well, going by that logic, I'll go buy an MOT failure Corsa and brush paint a tin of Hammerite onto it. It'll likely be the "only one in this colour" and therefore as rare as frickin' Unicorn eggs, so well deserving of a place in this 'ere thread?

I agree but just like the C63 AMG in plain white or the old Evo somebody posted. As I said its an Audi that is not a super car but its the colour I eluded to not the car. The thread isnt about rare colours of cars - its not called 'supercars spotted, and some rare coloured normal cars'. Its about supercars and hopefully some rare ones. An audi estate with stupid paint doesnt qualify for that.
So you would class a C63 as a supercar? or a Evo?Charlie1986 said:

I didn't answer the question, because it's a dumb question. One I couldn't possibly answer correctly/honestly. I may have seen one. I may have seen a dozen. None of them, even in a 'speshul' colour would have registered anything more than a "meh!" on the Audi-ometer. On the other hand, I've a clear memory of the two classics I saw at commute time this morning (a yellow Stag towing a folding caravan/trailer tent thing, and a lovely Vauxhall Royale). I know where and when I spotted my first P1, out on a test run with the protective blue film over the paint. Even now, months down the line. The RS4 you posted can best be described as 'unremarkable'. I don't dislike it. I'm not trying to start an internet spat with you over it. It's just my humble opinion that this thread really isn't the place for it.But do enlighten me where you have seen one this colour? you didn't answer that.
And yes. Bad day. But no, no need for a hug. Thanks for the concern...
...and CAPITAL bloody LETTERS to begin a sentence. Perrrrrrrrrrrrrrlease!

The Evo probably not.Seeing either a C63 or RS4 in a bright colour isn't particularly surprising / interesting.
Seeing a car like the C63 in bog standard white is unusual / surprising, because you expect them to be Arctic white (or whatever it's called) or a bright colour.
It maybe should just be called "the interesting cars spotted thread".

Im not wanting to have a spit for spat argument. I posted it as there has been similar cars posted as I have brought up I3 -C63 just to name a few. Just some people decided they would become a key board commando and start being sty with me over it. Seeing either a C63 or RS4 in a bright colour isn't particularly surprising / interesting.

So you would class a C63 as a supercar? or a Evo?I do live in Surrey (ooh er) so even Ferrari's etc are a daily occurance regularly. Im very de-sensitised to seeing supercars. Anything with 4 doors (other than say a Ferrari FF) is not a supercar in my book.
Rare is a different story as per the Makinnen Evo but again, the Audi doesnt qualify. I can see one across the road from me right now!

So I guess I shouldn't post a picture of the tatty Bond Bug that I spotted yesterday?
Maybe try the 'cool classics' thread? Although you might get a negative response there too, to be fair. As for rarity? Yes, they're pretty damned rare, to the point that some youngsters on 'ere would have to Google it to know what it is. So yes, post that one up...
