Seconded.

Although conversely, I want mine black, but with a polished rim.

Talking of wheels, is there an 18" wheel for the E46 M3 that isn't the standard 18, or the E92 18, that doesn't look rubbish?

Just had a look on RealOEM - hadn't realised that 17x7.5" Style 68s are the winter wheel for an M3:

yes The sin is compounded when the wheels are otherwise so attractive.

I want to change mine to standard silver.

Miss seeing that car wink

What about this wheel colour ?

A guy on here had his 997 GT2 wheels painted in this shade and it looked pretty damn stunning.

I was trying to avoid looking at this yesterday:

and that's coming from someone who's done some pretty awful things with wheel colours.

smile

I've pondered it a little (after seeing that photo of the GT2) but I think the colour suits the sharper edges of the centrelock wheels much better. I have a feeling the OH would hate it too....

That red GT2 looks incredible. eek

Agree, they are not the best.

What about the 18" BBS CH?

Edit:

Presume those shown are 19's. Not sure if the 18's would translate

What is it about the MX5 you love ? i have driven a couple of Mk2's and a MK3 2.0...... a good friend of mine was thinking of buying one as a summer toy; what a load of flexy, wobbly, uninspiring pile of sh..... IMO it has to be one of the most over rated cars of all time. Granted the MK1 is looked as the pinnacle ? of the range so i can't comment on my experience of a MK1 but the MK2 was especially terrible. The MK3 was ok but nothing special, you could feel the LSD working it's magic but i wouldn't say it was a car which was engaging to drive.

He ended up buying a Clio 172 Cup instead.... IMO a much much more fun car to drive and own.
