Purpley Jaguar XJ8 with no obvious tat beyond the heavy rear window tints and nearly a full year's test.

Could be very good VFM, but why would you sell after spending so much on work being done.
He’s obviously not the owner, I realise. Just a dealer.

I love the colour combination on this one and I far prefer velour in a W126 to leather.

Viewing and collection complete! Under half thread max.

155k but seems to drive very well indeed. Manual 2.5 straight 6. The paint is a bit flat and there are a couple of bubbles on one side, but it has had a new hood, starter, alloy refurb and suspension bits recently.

indicated 170 in a BMW with limited is real 155 as far as i know? . Mates m3 e46 did the same. 155 real plus 10% overead on speedo equals indicated 170...
I would be amazed if any modernish electronic speedo was out by as much as 10%, unless the car is fitted with tyres of an incorrect rolling circumference.
Bil checking progress in Germany couldn't differentiate between the GPS reading and the car's analogue instrument.

Hey, I may be wromg but I thought speedos had an overeating error built in until GPS tech came around? Pretty sure an e46 m3 cabrio doesn't do 170mph does it? Always assumed they were limited to 155 and 155 plus 10% equals indicated 170 was my thinking,.but, perhaps I'm very wrong. Won't be first, nor the last time... smile

Very nice indeed, congrats 0a - definitely my favourite modern(ish) BMW design by far.

My old Turbo R was always spot on with the TomTom sat nav. RR quoted a max of 143mph but mid 150's was more like it.
